Generally, most smaller home based or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mahakobees.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">hobby beekeepers<\/a> will uncap their honey frames using a <a title=\"Beekeeping decapping hot knife\" href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/4dLzA9\">HOT knife<\/a> (see our tempting closeup <a title=\"Beekeepers hot knife\" href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/4dLzA9\">Beekeepers Hot Knife<\/a> Uncapping Video \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=1iqfW_0EHVw\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=1iqfW_0EHVw<\/a>), Serrated Kitchen knife, or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/mahakobees\" target=\"_blank\">Beekeeping Uncapping Fork<\/a>. This involves the use of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=f1WrHtghmJ8\" target=\"_blank\">HEAT gun<\/a>. So, we thought we would give it a try, bought ourselves a ROK <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mahakobees.com\/store.html\">Heat Gun <\/a>and recorded the process and results of this experiment. Our part 1 video examines the results one could expect by using this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mahakobees.com\/store.html\">HEAT gun method<\/a>, and we compare the results with the more traditional <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/MahakoBees?sub_confirmation=1\" target=\"_blank\">beekeepers HOT knife<\/a> method. We explain both in detail so you can make your own opinion, and hopefully try and test them yourself following our easy instructions.
